Lo! An op-art Venus
with rhinoceros teeth
sits on the railroad tracks
in plaid lederhosen
selling indulgences.

An indulgent Venus
railroads rhinoceroses
into plaid teeth
bared by sellers
of op-art lederhosen.

A plaid Venus
with railroad teeth
makes rhinoceros tracks
amid op-art indulgences
in a low cellar.

A teething Venus
indulges railroad sellers
in bulging lederhosen
along the plaid tracks
of a lowing rhinoceros.

About the artist…

Ray Rhodes played
a part as a dull gent
with wino cirrhosis
who laid a dozen hos
with venous teats.
