My lover's brain is so sharp,
so lush with Latinate zingers,
it lacerates
the lapidarian's fingers.

treasured by idlers and noodlers,
aquarium-gazers,
chintzy chubby-knuckled men:

Madcap clownfish who venture
into this venomous, undulous
jungle of gyri
are never seen again.
